The Hinkson creek watershed is approximately 57,500 acres. The watersheds of the major tributaries that flow into the lower Hinkson are pictured above in dark gray, along with the upper Hinkson. The lower Hinkson is pictured in light gray. Our programs apply to the gray areas (both shades) pictured above. In general, the upper Hinkson watershed is between Route B and Route Z. The lower Hinkson is bounded roughly by Scott Blvd to the west, Business Loop 70 to the north, and Nifong to the south.
